Life Mask Project.

Today's project is near and dear to me. It's a life mask project I started a few years ago by making a mask on my daughter's face with strips of plaster tape. That mold of a mask was removed as soon as it hardened. From that, a air-hardening clay was used to form a mask. For years I didn't know what to do next, but recently I decided to wire it to a basket frame and add faux flowers and leaves around it, as well as beading. The face is made by gluing torn tissue paper pieces over the features with diluted glue. I'm still not quite done, but at least now I can display it instead of keeping it in a box. I feel I need to add more around the face, I'm just not sure more what yet.
